For this project we had to make an estimate on how many people went to President Obama's first inauguration. We had to estimate a certain piece. We worked on this as a table group, we first individually guessed how many people there was. Then we began to see where there would be people standing in certain areas. Then we looked up on the internet about how many acres there was in that section we measured. We came to the conclusion that there were about 800,000 people in the section we measured. We also had to use 2 habits of a mathmation. The rabbit we used was E\experiment through conjectures. We used this habit because we were struggling to find the answer but we kept on trying, our measurements came out wrong or we weren't doing something right so we kept on experimenting to see if we found a close answer. The next one we used was be confident patient and persistent. We used this habit because we were ready to give up because our calculations weren't coming out right and we were getting annoyed. We kept and trying but we never gave up and at the end we got our estimate
