This lab went on for 3 days, and for those three days we did something different. This lab had to do with a certain type of worm that eats bacteria. The bacteria that we saw under the microscope was called Escherichia coli we saw the interaction the worms had with the bacteria.
Day 1: For the first day of doing this lab, we saw type of species of nematodes. These nematodes can only be seen under a microscope, during this research we had to observe there movement, the way they looked, and how they interacted with the other worms. When I was observing them some where some what social with the other worms and the others where just they in a sort of clump, but then I learned that there was a chance that they were in that clump because they were reproducing or giving birth. They didn't look like your regular garden worms, these worms were clear and sort of transparent some are very large and some are very small there are a variety of sizes.

Day 2: By this day we had already experimented and observed these nematodes it was our turn to find nematodes from the wild. What we did on day two was was go scavenge for nematodes, we collected dirt samples from all over the school and some of us got nematodes in there dirt samples and some of us didn't, our dirt samples was one of the unluky ones that didn't contain nematodes in them.
