1: What grade do you think you deserve for the semester? why? (use specific evidence)
I think I deserve a B+ because I did all my work that I was supposed to do in my group and I wasn't going to be there for exhibition but when it came to doing all the things for the magazine I always turned in my work on time and always tried to do as much as I could to show my group and my teachers that even though I wasn't going to be there on exhibition night but I was going to show them through my work that I created it. I wasn't the best artist but I put all my effort into making my work good. 2: What was your biggest struggle? what was your greatest success? I think my greatest struggle during this project was the drawing and the research for all the drawings. It was a really big struggle for me because first of all my artistic skills aren't very good and I was comparing my work to my other classmates who are better at drawing and I didn't feel so confident in my work but when my group put the magazine together none of that really mattered because what was important was our hard work and our team work. Something that was very successful was the way our group worked we all got along and we all worked very well together, there was some argument here and there but over all everything was a success, not only the way we worked together but the work that we did was the best. 3: What was your role within the magazine project? What work did you do? (use specific evidence) Well we didn't really had roles in our group we all just got to an agreement who would so what drawing and what writing. But the thing I did was draw some of the things and write the articles for our art piece. What I did was draw the cycle of a steel headed tout and one of my group members did the other half witch was painting it, then I wrote about the cycle of the steel headed trout and I translated my interview to English so we could have at least an interview in Spanish. Overall my group members are a group of hard working people who have a lot of potential to show and I had a lot of fun getting to know them and working with them. 4: Did you contribute fully to your group? (did you complete work on time, meed deadlines, collaborate, etc?) The short time I was thee with my group I always tried to work as hard as I could because I knew I wasn't going to be there for exhibition night. I always completed my work on time but on some cases I needed more time for some things like drawing and painting but over all I completed all my things that were assigned to me and tried to make the best out of them to show my teachers and my group members that even if I wasn't going to be there on exhibition night I still worked hard to show the audience our beautiful work we created as a group. 5: Did you make any efforts to improve upon your work from first quarter if needed, or describe how you continued to do quality work and grow from first to second quarter. In the first quarter I really didn't get the technique of watercolor but then when we started getting more into the watershed project and I knew that we were going to be using this technique a lot so I started practicing on my free time and I started getting better at it then I was before. I also asked more questions in class when I needed help and my teacher was always there for me even though he was busy he always had time for his student. 6 Please write a brief student led comment that touches on your time in art class this semester. Please write about all the things you felt were successes for you, challenges you overcame, knowledge or skills you picked up etc. And please use this space to give me any kind, specific, feedback as well. Art class has been so far the most exciting and interesting class I've had this semester, you never get bored in that class. The most important thing in that class was that the teacher trusted us and let us have fun in his class but we were always on task and the class got all there work done. We really didn't have that much lectures but when we did we learned so much from them they made me realize things and think about things differently. I also really liked the classroom environment it was always so peaceful and it wasn't stressing it was the class were we could all relax at the end of the day . The only feedback I would give my teacher is to give more lectures because there always so interesting and have a very powerful meaning to them. But overall art was a very interesting class and I'm glad that I got to know such a wonderful teacher and I'm thankful that for the few months we had him as a teacher he taught us many things about art.
